The Locarno Film Festival upholds the tradition of experimentation, discovery, eclecticism and passion for auteur cinema. The festival attracts over 1,000 accredited journalists every year and over 190,000 admissions at screenings. The Locarno Festival Industry Office also provides a perfect networking opportunity for international distributors, buyers and producers. The Locarno Film Festival intends to be a place without borders, where every filmmaker can find the right role and feel in the right place.
