The top-rating Australian drama series on free-to-air television in 2014 was INXS: Never Tear Us Apart with a series average of 2.16 million viewers. This is up from 2013’s lowest recorded top series average for an Australian drama series across the five years from 2008 to 2012 with 1.56 million for Packed to the Rafters series 5.
