The Australian Screen Production Incentive comprises:

• the Producer Offset, administered by Screen Australia, provides a tax offset of 40 per cent of eligible Australian expenditure to producers of qualifying feature films, and a 20 per cent rate for qualifying television productions.
• Location and PDV Offsets for international producers, administered by the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, provide a 15.0 per cent offset for eligible expenditure.

State-based incentives are also available.

Australia’s International Co-production Program is also administered by Screen Australia.

Archived Clips for Documentary Makers

The former Film Australia Library is one of the largest and most historically significant sources of archival, documentary and stock footage in Australia. Australian documentary producers are entitled to up to 10 minutes of wholly owned Screen Australia material without incurring a licence fee.
