Screen Australia's Sound Stage is a convenient, versatile studio situated in Lindfield, just past Chatswood.

Quiet

The Sound Stage is purpose built for film and video production, with acoustically treated walls, ceiling and solid concrete floor. Located in bushland, well away from traffic, construction and aircraft noise, it's one of Sydney's quietest studio spaces.

Cool

The new air-conditioning system keeps the studio cool even under the most intense lighting setups, and features a fresh-air intake and rapid smoke/fume exhaust cycle. Yet it's so quiet, it can be left on even when recording sound! Independent acoustic consultants rate the air-conditioning system as far better than the industry standard for audio recording facilities.

With a full infinity cyclorama, two moveable gantries and a catwalk, the studio lends itself to a wide range of uses. The 220 square metre floorspace is big enough for medium-sized sets to be constructed - we've even had a train carriage in there!

Convenient

Access to the studio is easy with two sets of elephant doors and a loading dock, and there's plenty of parking for cars and trucks. The Sound Stage comes with make-up, wardrobe, showers, green room. Production Offices and Art Department spaces include telephones and fast ethernet/internet ports.
