Cinema admission prices in Australia, 19762009

In 2009, the top price for a single admission ticket1 in Australia was $25.00, representing a 25 per cent increase on 2008. The average ticket price has risen by 21 per cent over the past four years, and is up from $9.94 in 2005 to $11.99 in 2009.
