New Directions

As a new agency, Screen Australia is currently developing policies and programs for implementation in 2009. Industry consultation is an important part of this process.

A draft Statement of Intent was released on 15 September setting out broad principles and directions on which a suite of new programs would be based. Read the industry comments received. The final Statement of Intent is available for download here.

Draft program guidelines covering development support, production investment and Indigenous programs were released on 27 October. Comments were invited until 14 November 2008. Final program guidelines were published on 9 December 2008.

Screen Australia released its Terms of Trade for comment until Monday 22 December. Final Terms of Trade will be released in the third week of January 2009.
