Screen Australia presents 'In Search of Stories Worth Telling': Robert Rosen Lecture Series
2-5 August, Melbourne
Screen Australia, in association with MIFF 37°South Market, presents educator and critic Robert Rosen speaking on narrative storytelling and its significance both on and off the screen. These five Industry Lectures are aimed at film and TV professionals (such as writers, producers, directors, film critics, academics, executives and post-graduate students). All lectures conclude with a Q&A session moderated by Sue Maslin, screen producer and RMIT School of Media and Communication Adjunct Professor.

2010 AWGIE Awards

The AWGIES are unique in the industry in that they are the only writers' awards judged solely by writers, and the judging is based on the written script - the writer's intention rather than the finished product. The awards night has become one of the industry events of the year and the esteem in which the Guild and the Awards are held is evident in the attendance of prominent guests including network heads, independent producers, directors, funding agencies, individual writers and politicians from all sides of government.

Screen Australia presents Shop the Doc

Shop the Doc is a one-day forum to be held in Sydney and Melbourne on marketing Australian documentaries, designed to assist documentary makers to maximise the audience for their films. The forum will include practical information, examples, tips and strategies from leading industry professionals. It is designed for emerging through to experienced documentary makers and production personnel.
