IMPORTANT ENTERPRISE PROGRAM UPDATE

  • All funds to be distributed in one round
  • Current round re-opened with new deadline of 29 May

We’ve had a very strong response to the first round of expressions of interest (EOIs) for the Enterprise Program. As a result, the Board of Screen Australia endorsed a proposal at its meeting of 9 April to bring forward the funds earmarked for the second round in order to better address the level of demand for Enterprise funding. The full 2009/10 budget allocation of $3 million will therefore be distributed in a single round, and the second EOI round originally scheduled to close on 29 August will not occur.

To allow companies that intended to submit an EOI in August the opportunity to apply, the current round has been re-opened and a new deadline set for Friday 29 May.

If you’ve already submitted an EOI you should have been contacted directly about this change. Please let us know if you haven’t heard from us (contact Angela Chang on 8113 5830 or email angela.chang@screenaustralia.gov.au).

The application process for Enterprise funding will be extremely competitive. Producers are also reminded that they can apply at any time for up to $50,000 per tranche for features or up to $40,000 per tranche for documentaries through the single-project development program.
