DECEMBER FUNDING APPROVALS
Screen Australia’s board met in Sydney on Tuesday 16 December and approved a range of projects for production support including Ray Lawrence’s new feature Being Dead, a poetic thriller about a married couple who are savagely murdered.
Finance was approved for an additional four feature films, three documentary series, 17 one-off documentaries, one television drama series and two children’s television series. Two additional features also received Letters of Offer through the IndiVision Production Fund.
2009 PROGRAMS
Guidelines for programs commencing January 2009 are now available at www.screenaustralia.gov.au/industry_support.
Applications for programs without specific deadlines will be accepted from mid-January. Application forms will be available for these programs from late December 2008.
Industry practitioners are invited to comment on the revised Terms of Trade until Monday 22 December 2008.
