Assessment manager

Salary: $75,403 (+15.4% super)

The successful candidate will be engaged under the Screen Australia Act 2008
We are looking for an experienced and talented Assessment Manager to join our Producer Offset and Co-production Unit.
In this role you will be part of the team who administers the producer offset and international co-production programs under treaties, legislation, regulation and guidelines. The Unit receive and assess applications, recommending their approval or otherwise to relevant decision makers.
This is a high volume role where you will be responsible for assessing the applications for provisional and final certifications. You will also provide advice to the industry and the general public as a representative of Screen Australia.
To be successful, you will have extensive experience with the Producer Offset program, ideally with a producer, production accounting, production management or entertainment law perspective, including a demonstrated understanding of core concepts. You will have a working knowledge of film and/or television industry budgeting practices and familiarity with the market price of goods and services used in production
Excellent time management and attention to detail, combined with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment to accomplish common goals, are essential to your successful application.
