Development Associate, Indigenous

Engagement Type: Contract, 6 months
Annual Salary: $72,078 (pro rata) + 15.4% super

The successful candidate will be engaged under the Screen Australia Act 2008

As the Federal Government agency charged with supporting Australian screen development, production and promotion, Screen Australia offers a unique vantage point on the screen industry in Australia.  Screen Australia’s Indigenous Department, has partnered with our Development Unit, to offer an exciting 6-month professional development opportunity for an emerging Indigenous producer or screen development professional to join us in the role of Development Associate.

During your time with Screen Australia, you will have the opportunity to build on your creative judgement and industry knowledge of script development and financing by participating in and supporting the assessment processes undertaken by the Indigenous and Development teams.  You will be provided with experience opportunities in the Documentary and Production Investment units, and also have exposure to other areas across the agency.

This position will commence on 3 July 2017 and conclude on 15 December 2017.
