Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival (BAPFF), a re-imaging of the Brisbane International Film Festival, will take place annually late November. Its purpose purpose is to honour films from the Asia Pacific region, especially those that reflect their cultural origins.
The festival complements APSA, the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, a collaboration with UNESCO and FIAPF – International Federation of Film Producers Associations, that celebrates the best films from the region. BAPFF screens a selection of the APSA nominated films.
