Screening German premieres only and running no competitions, Hof International Film Festival has developed from its beginnings in 1967 into one of the most renowned film festivals in Germany and is very much regarded as a directors’ event. In the course of five days, roughly 150 screenings are viewed by approximately 200 journalists from all the most important German media and more than 600 professional visitors - producers, exhibitors and distributors of all the major German companies as well as independents.
