The Gijon International Film Festival for Young People aims to present the newest tendencies of young cinema worldwide. The purpose is to show films featuring youngsters and their concerns in the lives they are living. Films made under non-conventional rules by or for young people and which imply creativity, independency and innovation are encouraged.
