Applications open for Content London 2016

Screen Australia is delighted to announce that we’re supporting up to 10 Australian content creators to participate in Content London 2016, including C21’s International Drama Summit, which has established itself as a significant drama business event.

Programmed over three days, Content London plays host to C21’s International Drama Summit, international drama screenings, FutureMedia and the C21 Kids Content Futures. It presents an unrivalled line-up of guests and speakers from renowned UK, European and US production companies and broadcasters.

C21’s International Drama Summit spans the business of drama and includes case studies, craft sessions, interviews with the commissioners and networking opportunities.

Eligible Australians can apply for a grant of up to $5,000 toward their travel and registration costs.

This year, we are pleased to extend the opportunity of support to content creators including producers, writers and development executives who are experienced practitioners on the path to becoming showrunners.

Grant applicants must have a key creative credit in their respective field on at least one drama, comedy or kids series, with priority given to applicants who have international co-production experience or recent international sales.

The deadline for grant applications is Friday September 9. Successful applicants will be notified by late September.

Content London and International Drama Summit early bird registration rate extended

C21 have extended their early bird registration rate for Content London and the International Drama Summit to September 30.

If you’re applying for a grant, please don’t register just yet.

For all other Australians planning to attend, register for the all-access Content London three day pass at the early bird rate of £599 here. Or register for the International Drama Summit only at the early rate of £499 here.
