Over six years we watch Catrina Lawrence as she tries to forge an identity
for herself in the midst of a complicated and controlling family. Keith Lawrence, her father, is a devoted Christian. Abuse and alcohol are part of Keith's childhood and he has striven hard to overcome this in his life, his family and his fathering. Catrina wants to fly on her own but Keith will go to any lengths to protect her.
