A Taste Of Africa
In a land where feast and famine live side by side, eating is frequently a time for celebration. From a banquet of stuffed camel on the edge of the Sahara Desert to a four-course meal composed entirely of bananas on the tropical slope of Mount Killimanjaro. African food can be astonishing, bizarre and delicious. The ingredients are often exotic, the methods unfamiliar and meals often end with music and dance. These six programs were shot on location in Africa where presenter Dorinda Hafner introduces traditional and modern food from Ghana, Mali, Morocco, Egypt, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
