On a Saturday afternoon in May 2006, while preparing a housewarming party, singer/songwriter Grant McClennan died of a heart attack. He was 48 years old. His tragic death also brought an end to one of Australia’s greatest musical partnerships. Grant McClennan and Robert Forster, the founding members of seminal Brisbane band The Go-Betweens.
