Two women lie in bed together. Their relationship and environment has decayed into a kind of junkie squalor. They have made a pact: to escape… today. L resists, but S forces the matter, they take drugs, then she applies goggles and a dust mask to both their faces, sealing them with tape and cotton wool. They step out into the world. MUFFLED is a black comedy that explores dependency and disconnection from lovers and the world.
