OUTBACK ER is based in one of the most remote places on Earth - the hospital emergency department of outback Broken Hill. Hundreds of kilometres from the nearest capital city, anything can come through the doors - from snake bites, farming injuries, to mining accidents. The Broken Hill patients are those tough enough to call this harsh place home - this is outback Australia. Each day can bring devastating lows and remarkable highs.
