Three film-noir archetypes - a detective, a femme fatale and a Russian thug - live in a sharehouse together in modern Australian suburbia. Needing a new housemate, they found Alice, who quickly wound up dead. Now the powerful forces that led to Alice's demise are zeroing in on the Noirhouse. They've made themselves enemies to a crazed pentecostal leader of a cult-like church, and a manipulative matriarch who controls the town. Our heroes are going to have to use every old-school noir skill in their toolbox to keep their kind from disappearing from the modern world.
