The Screen Guide

SIGN LANGUAGE is an experiment in the physicality of 16 mm film, the final results of the experiment being the evidence of the process. Footage of urban advertising and signs was hole punched and the residual circles reedited back into the film in random order, creating an abstract jumble of information, information overload.
