Welcome to the Australian line up at Berlin 2016
We’re delighted to introduce the line-up of Australian productions and talent at the 2016 Berlinale/EFM along with details of some of the upcoming Screen Australia features.
Drama series Cleverman, from creator Ryan Griffen, and directed by Wayne Blair and Leah Purcell, has been selected as only one of six series from around the world in Berlinale Special Series. It will be the world premiere. Rosemary Myers’ feature directorial debut Girl Asleep will have its international premiere at Berlinale, as the opening night film in Generation 14plus Competition.
Shorts Kill Your Dinner, from writer/director Bryn Chainey, and The Boyfriend Game, by writer/director Alice Englert, will premiere in the Generation Kplus Competition.
