People employed per quarter

Next update to be advised

Employment figures fluctuate depending on the productions underway at the time. In 2006/007, the Australian Bureau of Statistics collected quarterly employment data for the first time in its Service Industry Survey of the film and video production and post-production services industry. While the PDV sector shifted between a yearly low of 2,693 people at the end of December 2006 to a high of 2,971 at the end of June 2007, the degree of fluctuation is not as significant as that experienced by the broader industry.
