Uniting the pillars of entertainment, media and technology, SCREEN FOREVER is one of the largest congregations of screen industry professionals in the Southern Hemisphere.

Background

It is attended by Australian and international industry practitioners involved in all aspects of producing, creating, writing, directing, distributing, and financing screen content across film, television, games, interactive and online. Now in its 37th year the event provides a vital forum for discussion and debate on the issues and challenges that affect screen business. SCREEN FOREVER, through the SPA Connect Marketplace, also delivers business opportunities which progress, amplify and strengthen Australian screen stories.

From 19 March – 21 March delegates will converge on the Gold Coast over three days for unmissable networking events, business meetings, inspiring thought leadership, and the SPA Connect Market. The conference will culminate with the SPA Awards, highlighting industry excellence and accomplishment. With a return to international travel, SPA is expecting the largest assembly of international buyers and partners seen in Australia for many years.

The Online Global Market will take place from 26 March – 27 March, where delegates have the enviable chance to promote their screen businesses, slates, and productions to a myriad of buyers, commissioning executives, distributors, and sales agents from across the globe who aren’t physically attending this year.

Ireland Connect is a competitive, curated co-production program designed for established Australian and Ireland based film and television producers seeking global partners and financing, and is held as part of the SPA Connect Market at SCREEN FOREVER 38. The producers selected to participate in the program will be offered a day of events focused on doing business and unlocking additional funding with their counterparts, including exclusive talks, networking and bespoke 1-1 meetings on 18 March prior to the official opening of SCREEN FOREVER 38.
