ICE Screen Cultures Program is an event partnership with ICE for a program of workshops, masterclasses, mentorships and other professional development opportunities for emerging Western Sydney screenwriters and producers.

Producer Jessica Mitchell will be attached to Amanda Higgs on the Matchbox drama series Seven Types of Ambiguity.

Producer Julia Berg will spend six months at Maven Pictures (Girl, Interrupted) in London working across their development and production slate.

Director Rudolf Fitzgerald-Leonard will spend two weeks at the Black Factory Cinema's workshop in Cuba under the guidance of Abbas Kiarostami.

Director Sean Kruck will spend three months at Blue Tongue working with Nash Edgerton on his latest feature American Express.

January 2016

Producer Lucy Hayes will spend six months in Los Angeles across creative development, financing and production at Lin Pictures (The LEGO Movie).  

Producer Vanessa Humprey will spend ten months in Los Angeles working across the development slate at Mad Chance Productions (American Sniper).

Director Neil Triffett (Emo (The Musical)) will be mentored by director Samantha Lang (Carlotta, The Monkey's Mask).

Director Erin Good will spend a week at the intensive Berlinale Talents Workshop and Project Lab in Germany with mentors advising Erin on her development slate of projects.

Causeway Films producers Kristina Ceyton and Samantha Jennings will engage a business consultant to develop a new 2 to 5 year business plan.

Director Miranda Nation (Perception) will be mentored by director Cate Shortland (Lore, Somersault) and will be attached to Cate on the feature film Berlin Syndrome.

Director Lynnette Wallworth (Coral: Rekindling Venus) will work with Founding Director Michelle Satter at the Sundance Institute and participate in the Sundance Screenwriters Lab, Sundance Documentary Edit Lab and JauntVR.

Animation director Pia Borg (Abandoned Goods) will spend six months between Manchester and Florence at Feature Expanded, an intensive training program for filmmakers developing and producing a feature film.

Director Victoria Cocks (Wastelander Panda) will work with producer Ian Collie and director Kieran Darcy-Smith during the pre-production, production and post-production of the Jack Irish television series.

Producer Alex Barnes (The Turning: Immunity) will spend eight months in Los Angeles working across the development and production slate of Trigger Street Productions (House of Cards, Captain Phillips). Funding for this placement was revoked in October 2018.

Producer Khoby Rowe (Grey Bull) will undertake a six-month placement with Los Angeles producer/development executive Keith Quinn in partnership with Zodiak Media (Being Human, Wallander, Saint-Tropez).

April 2015

Director Corrie Chen will be attached to director Shawn Seet during the pre-production, principal photography and post-production of the Channel 7 mini-series Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door.

Director Billie Pleffer will be attached to director Glendyn Ivin (Gallipoli, Puberty Blues, Last Ride) on the six-part miniseries The Beautiful Lie.
