Call for applications: Film Bazaar Goa India – Special Initiative

Screen Australia, in conjunction with DFAT, invites expressions of interest from Australian feature film producers who are seeking to expand on existing relationships in India, explore potential co-production, investment and sales opportunities, or learn about the Indian film market.

Film Bazaar, now in its sixth year and held alongside the International Film Festival of India, is a marketplace for filmmakers and buyers organised by the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC). In 2011, Film Bazaar was by attended by 635 delegates from over 40 countries.

Selected producers will form an Australian delegation, led by Screen Australia, to advance film projects and explore future production opportunities. Successful applicants will receive a $2,500 allowance towards travel costs plus complimentary accommodation and registration from the NFDC.

Applicants will need to provide a strong market strategy outlining their argument for attendance, desired outcomes and a demonstrated understanding of the market.
