The successful candidate will be engaged under the Screen Australia Act 2008

About us 

The Producer Offset and Co production Unit at Screen Australia manages the Producer Offset tax rebate and Australia’s international Co-production program. This dynamic team assesses applications for both programs and provides specialist guidance to the screen industry and stakeholders alike. 

About the role

We currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who has a background in producing, production management or production accounting to join the team.  

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of the Producer Offset program and knowledge of current issues facing the Australian production landscape. They will ideally have experience assessing applications for financial support in the broader content context.

About you 

  • You will be a unique professional with experience gained in a producer, production management or a production accounting environment
  • Be able to demonstrate understanding of core concepts of the Producer Offset and the Co-production program
  • Have strong project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret legislation and write concise reports.
