Location: Sydney
Engagement Type: Contract, 2 years
Salary: $80,013 per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation​

The successful candidate will be engaged under the Screen Australia Act 2008

About THe role

We are currently seeking a talented Video Producer to join our Communications Team. Working closely with our Content Producer (written and podcast) this position will be responsible for pitching, filming, editing, publishing and promoting video content that showcases the local screen industry.

The successful candidate will be an integral content provider for Screen Australia’s in-house industry hub Screen News, and our social media channels. The videos you produce will be an essential resource for the industry, and promote the incredible content Australia makes to audiences both at home and abroad.

About you

  • You will have gained solid experience as a corporate video or video news producer, ideally having worked in an arts or entertainment organisation.  
  • Experience conducting filmed interviews, usually with a journalist, but confident being the interviewer yourself if needed.
  • Willingness to work on a wide variety of video content, from interviews, to reels to loop videos.
  • A confident writer, including developing your own video content strategy and producing WIP documents planning months in advance.
  • Confident in promoting your work to ensure it reaches those in the industry that will benefit from viewing your videos.
  • You will have a high level of administrative and organisational skills and must be an advanced user of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Mac).
