We’ve funding exciting new projects that include Babyteeth, a bittersweet comedy from director Richard Roxburgh (Romulus, My Father); Seriously Red, a musical comedy with a Dolly Parton impersonator from director Kate Woods (Looking for Alibrandi); and King of Thieves, a thriller based on the true story of Arthur Delaney from director Jonathan Teplitzky (The Railway Man).

We’re thrilled to support attachments for producer Julia Berg and directors Rudolf Fitzgerald-Leonard, Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke. WHAT’S HAPPENING?

GENDER MATTERS

We’ve had hundreds of applications for our Gender Matters initiatives, which can only attest to the growing need globally to support women in the screen industry. We recently hosted the Brilliant Careers Symposium, which included the likes of Jane Caro, Joanna Werner, Julian Morrow and many others. Here's an excerpt from Jane Caro's keynote.

FAMILY FILM FORUM AND INITIATIVE

You can find sessions from our one-day Family Film Forum that included speakers like Kriv Senders (Red Dog), Seph McKenna (Roadshow Films) and many others, here. These experts spent a second day with 12 successful projects that we selected from more than 100 applications in our Family Film Initiative. On day two, the Forum’s speakers workshopped one-on-one with the 12 successful teams. Two to three of these projects will be selected for funding and more support in the next stage of our Family Film Initiative.

WHAT’S NEXT?
