ABS production industry survey underway

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is once again surveying the screen production sector.

For the first time you will be able to complete the survey online. If you’re a film or TV production or broadcast business, or a digital games development business, you might have received a letter in the mail that includes login information and instructions for online completion.

Screen Australia has worked with the ABS to develop the survey to reflect changes to the industry, including the production of online content. The results not only help to inform and monitor policy decisions (such as the introduction of the Producer Offset) but also contribute to a time series that has been profiling our industry since 1993/94.

Please look out for your notification letter, and take the time to complete the survey online. Your contribution will help to ensure the availability of current, comprehensive, high-quality information about our industry.
