Berlin International Film Festival selector returns

Selector for the Berlin International Film Festival and Director of Generation, Maryanne Redpath, returns to Australia this month to view new Australian feature films.

In 2010, three Australian films screened in Berlin – the feature films Red Hill (d: Patrick Hughes) and Bran Nue Dae (d: Rachel Perkins) and the short film, Franswa Sharl (d: Hannah Hilliard), which won the Crystal Bear (Kplus Short Film).

If you would like Maryanne to see your film you should first check the 2011 festival entry requirements at the Berlinale website.

Submission deadline to Screen Australia is 5.00pm, Wednesday 22 September.

The Berlin International Film Festival will run 10–20 February 2011.
