Factual content focus event at MIPTV 2011

Screen Australia will host a targeted matchmaking event for Australian and international delegates at MIPTV, 4-7 April 2011.

The event will focus on connecting Australian factual content creators with international commissioners, distributors and producers hoping to forge potential co-production partnerships.

Screen Australia will select 10 Australian factual content producers attending MIPTV to engage in introductory meetings with overseas broadcasters, co-producers and distributors to further develop their projects. Participants will have meetings with carefully matched international executives. The event will be hosted at the Screen Australia stand at MIPTV 2011 on Tuesday 5 April 2011.

From the applications received, Screen Australia will select 10 producers who would benefit most from participation.

Screen Australia is running the Australian factual content matchmaking event in collaboration with Creatives Loop. Creatives Loop is an international media consultancy specialising in co-productions, helping film, television and digital media producers secure deals.

MIPTV is the world’s leading content market for creating, co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment across all platforms.

MIPTV will run 4–7 April 2011.
