Screen Australia today announced that Sally Regan will join its Production Investment team as Investment Manager for Drama.

Sally has over 20 years’ experience working in the screen production sector. She comes to Screen Australia direct from her role as Development and Production Executive at Screen NSW working across documentary, features and television drama.

Sally Regan’s producer credits include the multi-award winning feature documentary Forbidden Lie$, as well as ABC documentaries Colour of War, Road to Tokyo, Germany/Canada/Australia co-production feature documentary I, Psychopath, and most recently The Lost Diggers of Fromelles for Channel 7. She also produced the ABC telemovie The Prime Minister Is Missing.

From 1999 to 2003, Sally was employed at Film Australia as Business Affairs Manager of Documentary Production. Sally Regan’s new role at Screen Australia replaces outgoing Investment Manager Sally Browning and she will take up the position on Monday 16 July.

Screen Australia’s Head of Production Investment Ross Matthews said, “I am extremely pleased that Sally Regan has agreed to join our Production Investment team. She brings a wealth of experience both in screen production and agency investment management. I have no doubt Sally will be a valuable addition to the team and will forge strong relationships with the industry.

“I also want to acknowledge the significant contribution Sally Browning has made as an Investment Manager at both Screen Australia and its predecessor agency, the Film Finance Corporation, in supporting Australian filmmakers. I wish her every success as she returns to the production sector.”
