Travel funding for Asian Side of the Doc

The 6th Asian Side of the Doc will take place in Xiamen, China, 17–20 March 2015 and Screen Australia, in conjunction with DFAT, is providing travel support for producers to attend.

The four-day factual TV market offers a line-up of panels, networking events and a pitching forum designed to maximise investment and co-production opportunities with some of the world’s fastest-growing markets. The 2014 event hosted 650 delegates from 43 countries and included leading Chinese broadcasters as well as international screen agencies, government representatives and broadcasters from Europe and North America.

Screen Australia will be providing a marketplace umbrella and will produce marketing collateral to support the business activities of the Australians attending.

Applications are now open for funding of up to $2,500 per person via the International Marketing Support Program for producers taking projects to the market. Approval depends on the competitive strength of the application against the criteria set out in the guidelines, and the availability of funds.

International Markets guidelines are available here. Email any enquiries to Business. The deadline for applications is 5pm, Friday 23 January 2015.
