Calling all animated kids content creators

Apply now for available Screen Australia travel grants to the Asian Animation Summit.

Australian creators of animated projects for children are invited to apply to participate in the fourth Asian Animation Summit (AAS), the annual event designed to attract producers of animation for children who want to co-produce with Asian partners. The event is held in Jeju Island, South Korea, 7–9 December 2015 by Korea’s KOCCA, Malaysia’s MDeC and Thailand’s SIPA/DITP. It is supported by Screen Australia and owned and produced by Kidscreen.

Apply for the Summit

Over three days, 24 new projects intended for broadcast for children up to 15 years from Australia, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and elsewhere in Asia will be presented to the 200 plus attending investors, broadcasters, distributors and producers. The event will provide opportunities for meetings and general networking to facilitate project financing and regional connections.

Up to four projects will be selected from Australia. Producers from the other participating countries should refer to the AAS website for more information.

Apply for a Travel Grant

Screen Australia will offer travel grants of $2,500 per successful company. In addition, successful companies will be offered free registration to the AAS and negotiated accommodation rates.
