Nathalie Peter-Contesse joins Screen Australia

We’re pleased to announce our latest addition to the Production team.

Nathalie Peter-Contesse will join Screen Australia’s Production team in the role of Development Executive.

Nathalie started her international film career working with the Locarno Film Festival and the Montecinemaverita’ Foundation as Project Manager and Selection Committee member.

After moving to Los Angeles, Nathalie became Vice-President, Creative Affairs for producer Gianni Nunnari/Hollywood Gang Productions (The Departed, Immortals) and Cecchi Gori Pictures (Se7en, Life is Beautiful). Nathalie was an associate producer on Zack Snyder’s 300, and co-producer on Everybody’s Fine starring Robert de Niro.

In London, Nathalie joined international sales company Capitol Films as a Development and Production Executive before relocating to Australia. For the past four years, she has worked with Screen Australia and Screen NSW as an external assessor, both for development and production investments.

Screen Australia’s Head of Production Sally Caplan says, “We’re thrilled to have Nathalie join the team. Her European and American industry experience coupled with her local industry knowledge, strong story skills and keen sense of audience will all be invaluable to Screen Australia and the broader industry”.

Nathalie will start in her new role in mid-November.
