Screen Australia announces Credit Maker 2.0 – Elevating Women and Gender Diverse Practitioners in the Screen Industry

1 April 2025

Screen Australia, in partnership with the Australian Cinematographers Society and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers, is proud to announce that applications for Credit Maker 2.0 are now open.

Building on the success of the inaugural Credit Maker program, this high-calibre initiative provides a career-defining opportunity for women, non-binary and gender diverse screen practitioners to secure a credit on a scripted television production. By pairing emerging Directors of Photography (DoPs) and Composers with established industry mentors, the program aims to increase representation in Head of Department roles and drive lasting change in the sector.

Credit Maker 2.0 will support eight practitioners (four DoPs and four Composers) in gaining the vital industry recognition needed to advance their careers and unlock future opportunities.

For more information about the Credit Maker 2.0 placements and to apply, visit the Australian Cinematographers Society and Australian Guild of Screen Composers websites.
