Screen Australia releases AI Guiding Principles

5 September 2024

Screen Australia has released a set of key principles that will guide the agency’s approach to Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Recent advancements in AI technology (including the proliferation of generative AI tools) present unique opportunities and complex challenges for the Australian screen industry.

Screen Australia has developed a set of AI Guiding Principles to direct the agency in its approach to the rapidly evolving area of AI.

We encourage our stakeholders to familiarise themselves with the Guiding Principles.

Applicants are advised to look out for updates regarding changes to Screen Australia’s application processes which will be introduced in due course.
