Anangu Way

Lydon and Keenan are related, yet they live very different lives. Lydon is immersed in culture, living the Anangu way of life, while Keenan lives in the city. Despite Lydon being absent for most of Keenan’s childhood, they both love working with their hands. Lydon makes cultural artefacts in the desert, while Keenan is always working on a new project in his shed. This documentary follows Keenan as he travels 14 hours from Perth to Tjuntjuntjara, to sit down with his father and learn how to make a woomera. Hearing stories about culture and family, Keenan asks himself, is culture important, and how does he maintain it when he doesn't live on country?
