Synopsis
Formed in July, 1950 the Union of Australian Women set out to take up the issues for women which had not been tackled by the existing women's organisations; peace, equality and the needs of women and children. A strong and committed group of women talk about their experiences as successful campaigners for women's rights from the 1950s to current day.
