At Midnight

A dancer recalls the Second World War and her harrowing escape from Communist Hungary in 1956. In search of safety and freedom, she leaves everything behind, including her filmmaker husband, and builds her life anew in Australia. Meanwhile, her husband immortalizes her escape on celluloid, which provides the flickering backdrop to this, her side of the story.
