Synopsis
In the film noir tradition, this film tells the story of Phillip Marsden, a down and out journalist and new arrival in the capital city of Canberra. When he meets Ellen Holroyd, the dangerously beautiful wife of the transport magnate Yanko Holroyd, they begin an affair in which they discover more about the city than the meaning of trust.
