Synopsis

Jared is 17 and lives with his mother in Blackrock, a suburb in a large industrial city on the coast of New South Wales. Finishing strongly in his second last year at school, he is starting to get a handle on life. Then Ricko, the young local hero and Jared's idol, returns. Jared throws a welcome home party for him at the local surf club. Everyone is there. A 15-year-old girl is found dead on the beach. Jared is torn between loyalty and truth.
