Synopsis
A documentary that gives insight into why people continue to smoke cigarettes despite the health, social and economic disadvantages. The film explores the minds of four individuals addicted to smoking cigarettes. They are asked various questions about their habit through the course of the film. Although it is subtly anti-smoking, BLOWN AWAY gives smokers an opportunity to openly talk about reasons for their habit. A strong theme is socialisation - people smoking more around those who also smoke and less around those who don't.
