Synopsis
Drawing on long-hidden documents, including the secret Lowe Royal Commission and first person accounts AN AWKWARD TRUTH debunks conventional wisdom surrounding the bombing of Darwin in 1942. This was not a small, insignificant attack swept under the carpet to avoid unnecessary panic. It was a massive military failure, hidden from the public by those responsible.
