Bringing the Bones Home

After a 30 year battle flung far around the globe, the remains of 32 Kamilaroi ancestors are brought home….to country….to rest. For Kamilaroi Elder, Uncle Bob Weatherall, bringing the bones of his ancestor’s home to St George in Western Queensland 2013, fulfilled a duty beyond that his own purpose and his own mob, a duty that has marked significance to Aboriginal people across Australia.
