Brush With Nature, A

The Southern Right Whale is returning once more to the calving grounds of Australia's wild southern coast. It was pursued to the edge of extinction by European whalers last century. Just as the animals are regenerating so have they been a source of inspiration to Rob Ulmann, wildlife artist, who lost everything in a bushfire in 1983. Rob has an intimate knowledge of all wildlife and we see this empathy through his paintings and through his care of injured birds and animals.
