City Girls

Australia's pioneer women had to learn to survive in an uncaring and often dangerous wilderness. Their grand-daughters live in suburban safety. In a unique experiment, 17 girls from an exclusive Melbourne private school were taken to the rough country of the Bogong High Plains, to see if they could survive in the bush, and with each other. With three girls on the dole, and from widely different backgrounds, they spent nine days in the Victorian high country.
