Synopsis

The story follows the lives of two sisters as they learn about life and love. After receiving an invitation to a society costume ball, they embark on a plan to 'borrow' some dresses for the occasion with the intention of finding suitable partners for themselves. By socialising with the elite, they hope to secure a brighter future, but discover others' lives are not always what they seem.
